Latest Arsenal Injury News

Arsenal prepare to face Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday hoping to perhaps bring home the first of the domestic silverware available to English clubs. They face the League One side in the League Cup, a trophy Arsene Wenger has never won.

The Gunners then take on West Brom in the Premier League, also at home, a game the will be desperate to take all three points from.

The latest injury news coming out of the Arsenal camp is not disastrous, but there are certainly some big names who will be missed by Wenger as he attempts to get the club’s season back on track and onto winning ways.

Long term absentee Santi Cazorla is still missing for Wenger, and no return date has been set for the midfielder who will be desperate to make his return to action with the Gunners. Cazorla is out with a plantaris injury, adding to the growing list of injury set-backs that the Spaniard has endured.

Mesut Ozil remains unavailable also, after he missed the Super Sunday clash with a knee injury, although he could be available to play West Brom at the weekend. Francis Coquelin is also out of action for the Gunners, and will likely return early next month after sustaining a hamstring injury. Forward Danny Welbeck has had a good start to proceedings for Arsenal so far this season, but was substituted late on against Chelsea with a suspected groin injury – something that could keep him out for a number of weeks.
